Reasons to love it – and reasons not to

This hotel oozes charm with its stunning historic features. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful treat, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. So welcoming!

While the location is ideal, I noticed a few maintenance issues that need addressing. A noisy exit doors next to my suite made it hard to relax and sleep, which was disappointing.

We had an amazing time enjoying the complimentary breakfast buffet and the happy hour, where the staff's humor made us feel right at home. The comfortable Deluxe King Room offered a peaceful retreat, and the nearby AVI restaurant provided a delicious dining experience. Don’t miss the river trail for a scenic stroll!

my stay was enhanced by its stunning historic architecture and comfortable room, and I was thrilled to discover it’s just a short walk to both the river walk and many delicious dining spots in the area.

the staff at drury were wonderful and made us feel welcome. the hotel is beautifully situated on the river, just steps from the river walk. we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and dinner, and especially appreciated the fantastic hot tub.

The Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview Wichita features beautiful vintage charm with modern amenities, making it easy for seniors to navigate. The spacious common areas were impeccably clean, providing a delightful atmosphere for relaxation and socializing.

An additional safety bar in the shower would help.

I stayed in a Deluxe King Room for one night. The woodwork in the hotel gives it a classy vibe. Staff members were all super friendly, making check-in a delight. My room felt spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I enjoyed the pool area, especially the hot tubs. Free food and drinks during the 5:30 kickback were a fantastic touch. Breakfast had a good variety, though the hot items were basic. An issue with the fire alarm went off at 4:40 am, which was unsettling, but it turned out to be a mechanical issue, not a fire. It would be better if the management addressed this. Also, the room doors clicked loudly when shutting, which could wake others.

The complimentary breakfast was more than expected, with fresh pastries and hot coffee available all day. I also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere during the evening kickback, making for a relaxing end to the day.
